Here is a sneak peek from the photo shoot I did last Sunday with Donna and Lauren. It drizzled the whole time we were scouting for a location and getting ready, but as soon as we were ready to start shooting, it really started to rain much harder. I had never shot in the rain before, not even with film, so this was defiantly a learning experience. Lauren did her own make-up and hair, and Donna did the design. Donna is an all around amazing artist! I love shooting with Donna, I am still new with working with models (that I haven’t met before). Its different from shooting family portraits, in a sense. Lauren is incredibly awesome as well. I really want to work with her again!
The worse thing about shooting in the rain, was thinking about the computers/electronics in the camera’s body, lens, and flash. Though I do want to shoot in the rain again; I love being in the rain!! I learned to make different clothing choices, because jeans became SO HEAVY and hard to bend in. I will be investing in rain boots for sure, as well.
Please check out Donna L Photography!

I have never been so insulted on facebook before.  “The Great Gatsby” a throwback? What the fuck?! Its classic American Literature!
I never had to read this novel when I was in school, high school or college, (and I  took numerous English classes in college.), so when I did finally read it, it was for fun. I fell in love with the story! It was so bizarre and it was set in the 1920s, how could I not like it?
I don’t even know if I should justify this kid with a response… All I know this is more reason to why my kids are not attending a school within the public school system.
